Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Delhi has invited applications for Group-D Posts (total post 1473)  under Ex.SM Quota.  

RRC New Delhi is hiring personnel at large number of 1473 vacancies of erstwhile Group-D posts in specified categories of Northern Railway under various departments under Ex-Servicemen Quota for the following posts: 

1. Traffic Porter: 20 Posts
2. Points man: 57 Posts
3. Gateman: 35 Posts
4. Khalasi Helper: 283 Posts
5. Trackman: 771 Posts
6. Carriage Cleaner: 171 Posts
7. DSL Khallasi : 02 posts
8. DSL Cleaner: 10 Posts
9. Khalasi Helper: 101 Posts
10. Safaiwala: 07 Posts
11. Khalasi Helper: 16 Posts

Eligibility  

Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I Certificate or equivalent, or matrics. The eligibility of the retired Defence personnel to the status of Ex-SM is governed by the definition as laid down by Department of Personnel and Training.

Age Limit 

Candidates’ age must 33 years + extent of military service+ 3 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-07-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules.

Selection Process 

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of length of military service rendered subject to medical fitness.

Candidates need to download application format available in the website, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, along with all relevant documents and super scribe “Emplyment Notice No.220E/ NR/ RRC/ Ex.SM/ @013 (Prt-II), Northern Railway Recruitment for Ex-Servicemen” on the envelope and send it to the Assistant Personnel Officer(RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, Lajpat Nagar – I, New Delhi – 110 024 on or before 24-06-2013.
