East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) invites online applications from interested and eligible candidates for engagement of Teachers (Primary) in the schools of EDMC for the year 2013-14. Engagement will be purely on temporary and contractual basis upto 10.05.2014 or till the selection list received from DSSSB, whichever is earlier. The remuneration will be Rs. 23,220/- P.M. (minimum of pay in the pay band of i.e. 9300/- + 4200/- GP) + variable D.A.

- Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent from a recognised Board / University / Institute.
- Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level.
- Must have passed English as a subject at Secondary or Senior Secondary level. Two years diploma / Certificate course in ETE / JBT or equivalent or B.El.Ed from a recognised institution.
- Must have qualified in CTET conducted by CBSE.
