RECRUITMENT OF WOMEN CONSTABLE (EXECUTIVE) IN DELHI POLICE - 2013

1.   Applications from Indian nationals are invited to fill up 522 vacant posts of Women Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police under the following categories in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200/- in Pay Band 1 with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- and other allowances as admissible:-

i)              Age 18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2013 i.e. those born not earlier than 02.01.1988 and not later than 01.01.1995 will be eligible for the post of Women Constable (Exe.)  Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and Widow/divorced women/judicially separated women etc. as per rules.
ii)             Candidates seeking reservation benefits for SC/ST/OBC must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the advertisement. They should also be in possession of the certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim at the time of submitting application form as per Annexure-“B” and “C”. No other certificate will be accepted as sufficient proof.
iii)               The age relaxation under OBC category is admissible for those castes notified in the Central List and the List issued by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi.  No other certificate will be accepted as sufficient proof.
iv)          A ‘departmental candidate” means who has enlisted in Delhi Police with a minimum of 3 years continuous service and who otherwise fulfills all educational qualification and other physical standards.
v)           The sports women of distinction who have represented a state at the national level and the country at the international level in sports during preceding three years from the date of advertisement of vacancies.  The discipline of sports for which relaxation is permissible as per table given at Annexure ‘A’. The Sports Certificate should have been issued in the proforma attached at Annexure-‘D’ & ‘E’ having photograph of the candidate duly attested by the Secretary of the issuing State/National Sports Federation. The issuing federation/Association conducting State/National championship should be affiliated with State/Indian Olympic Association. 
vi)           Relaxation in height (residents of hill areas) as mentioned above will be permissible only on production of certificate at the time of Physical Measurement Test, in the proforma as prescribed in Annexure-‘F’ from the competent authorities i.e. DC/DM/SDM or Tehsildar of the District where they ordinarily reside(s). 
vii)              Those candidates who are declared not qualified in height may prefer an appeal, if they so desire, to the appellate authority present on the PE&MT ground on the same day. The decision of the appellate authority will be final and no further appeal or representation in this regard will be entertained.
viii)      The wards of serving, deceased and retired police personnel including Multi-Tasking Staff (formerly group ‘D’ employees) of Delhi Police belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Hill Area category will not be entitled to get double relaxation. They can claim relaxation either in their caste/category or in wards of police personnel including Multi-Tasking Staff (formerly group ‘D’ employees) of Delhi Police.
ix)        Daughters of serving, deceased and retired police personnel including Multi-Tasking Staff (formerly Group ‘D’ employees) of Delhi Police shall be required to produce certificate in the prescribed format issued by DCP/Addl.DCP or ACP/HQ of the District/Units where the police personnel including Multi-Tasking Staff (formerly group ‘D’ employees) of Delhi Police served last at the time of Physical Measurement Test as per proforma at Annexure-‘G’.

Note 1:-         No change of Centre of PE&MT will be allowed under any circumstances. Hence, the candidates should select the centres, carefully and indicate the same correctly in their application forms. 
Note 2:-    The Delhi Police reserves the rights to cancel any centre and ask the candidate of that centre to appear from another centre.  Delhi Police also reserves the right to divert candidates of any centre to some other centre to take the PE&MT.

6.         MODE OF FILLING UP OF APPLICATION FORMS:

(A)       EMPLOYMENT NEWS APPLICATION FORM AND TYPED/PHOTOCOPIED APPLICATION FORM (OFF LINE):

(i)        Applicant may cut the application form given in this advertisement, fill it up and send
or
      Application form can also be typed/photocopied on A-4 size paper as per the format given in the advertisement, fill it up and send.
(ii)      Application Form as per format given in the advertisement/website only will be accepted.
(iii)     A recent colored passport size (35 mm x 45 mm) photograph with name plate taken in red background should be firmly affixed at the appropriate place in the Application Form. Two identical colored passport size (35 mm x 45 mm) photographs with name plate shall also be attached with the Application Form. 

(iv)     A Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque of Rs.100/- shall be attached as fee in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable at Delhi) which should be valid for 3 months. The application fee for SC/ST candidates is exempted, however they will have to attach a photocopy of caste certificate along with the application form, duly attested by a serving Gazetted Officer.

(v)     Duly filled-in application forms alongwith Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque        should be sent through ordinary post to “Post Box No.8020, Delhi-110033” and write on the top of the envelope “Application for the post of Women Constable(Exe.) in Delhi Police-2013”.

(B)       WEBSITE APPLICATION FORM (ON LINE):

(i)        Go to www.delhipolice.nic.in or www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in.
(ii)      Click on the “Recruitment” on the www.delhipolice.nic.in or “Apply On line
 for Women Constable (Exe.) in Delhi Police-2013 link on the websites www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in desired application form will open, which the candidate needs to fill carefully on online.
(iii)     After filling the form, candidate needs to click on Preview button; a preview of the entire information filled in the application form will be displayed. Before clicking Save/Submit Application button, one can click on Modify Application button to go back to modify the filled application form information.
(iv)     Candidate needs to review it carefully because the information once submitted Clicked Save/Submit Application button can't be altered at a later stage.
(v)     If it is filled correctly then the candidate should click on Save/Submit Application button to complete the on line applications submission and click on Print button to take out print (on 300 dpi Laser printer) of the filled Application Form on A4 size paper.
(vi)     After this a Thank you message will be displayed along with the Registration No. of the candidate. This Registration No. must be noted/printed properly for future use to check the status of application on login to one's “My Account”*.  It can be printed easily by clicking on Print button on this page.
(vii)    Affix firmly a photograph and put signature. (For detail refer to “Instructions for filling up the Application Form”).
(viii)  Applicants are required to send the print out of filled in application form on A4 size paper alongwith the fee of ` 100/- in the form of Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (Payable at Delhi) through ordinary post to Post Box No.8020, Delhi-110033, and write on the top of the envelop “Application for the post of Women Constable(Exe.) in Delhi Police-2013”.

(C)       DOWNLOADABLE APPLICATION FORMS (OFF LINE):

ii)        To apply offline, one can click on 'Download Form' to download the blank application form to apply offline.
iii)       Applicants are required to send the print out of filled application form on A4 size paper alongwith the fee of Rs.100/- in the form of Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque in favour of “DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi.”, payable at Delhi through ordinary post to Post Box No.8020, Delhi-110033, and write on the top of the envelop “Application for the post of Women Constable(Exe.) in Delhi Police-2013”.
